FACT: Pelicans are my new favorite birds. I spent three separate occasions, each time equipped with a different camera, photographing these photogenic fellas during our vacation last week. (Who knew pelicans were such excellent models?!) These birds seemed almost as intrigued by me as I was of them… or maybe they were just hungry. Sadly, one of the pelicans had a fish hook stuck inside his beak. :( I was too intimidated by their massive size (and beak) to attempt to remove it.
